Birdsong Lodge - Woolacombe

the location was amazing, with a lovely coastal path walk right from the back of the lodge. the lodge itself was immaculate and had all the comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. the beds were super comfortable and the sofa was cozy. We also loved the beautiful natural light that streamed through the glass windows. the highlight of our stay was the falcon and sheepdog display, which added to the unique experience of being on a farm. Watching the sheep being rounded up every morning by the sheepdogs was a delight. Debbie and David, the hosts, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed learning about the area and the farm from them. Another special feature of the lodge was the fire-pit, where we enjoyed sitting in front of vibrant sunsets. Birdsong Lodge provided us with a wonderful getaway to recharge and escape from it all, and we highly recommend it.

The location of the lodge was amazing! I loved being able to walk along the coastal path and explore the nearby village. The lodge itself was cozy and comfortable, with super comfy beds and a lovely light-filled space. The added bonus of a falcon and sheepdog display was a unique and enjoyable experience. I also appreciated the warm and accommodating hosts who made me feel welcome on the farm. The fire-pit was another highlight, especially when I got to enjoy it while watching a vibrant sunset.

I really can't think of anything negative about my stay. The lodge was beyond my usual budget, but considering the location and the comfort it provided, I think it was a reasonable price.
